Packaged Meals
The easiest and least expensive suggestion is to buy these in bulk from one of the following links: www.readymeal.com, www.sunmeadow.net, www.valleyfoods.com, www.heatermeals.com, or a similar company.  Note:  heater meals are a nice idea, but are generally more expensive and not necessary. What is needed is a package with a single meal for one person that includes:
  • Main protein item
  • Little container of fruit
  • Canned drink of juice or some other drink
  • Snack item like individual-sized chips or beef jerky, etc.
  • Dessert item like a can of pudding or and individual-sized bag of cookies

Benevolence Funds
Important that you know local and national resources so you can use the funds for those needs not covered by other agencies and focus on the "vulnerable population" with your community (not just with your church or organization)
  • Elderly without adequate resources
  • Single moms or virtual single moms
  • Disenfranchised
  • Disabled without adequate resources
