This training is available through the county Emergency Management Office and is a more in-depth emergency response training that includes:

• triage,
• basic search and rescue,
• techniques for debris removal and victim extrication and
• fire suppression techniques.

The course covers how to respond to a variety of disaster situations and understand terrorism threats and how to shelter-in-place.
