DEFINITION: The establishment and oversight of a church fund designated for needs created by a major disaster.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS: A small committee who would oversee the fund and approve the dispersal of these funds or the use of whatever church committee is already in charge of similar funds.

TRAINING: This group will need to learn what resources are available through the county government and other agencies within the county as well as what is available through state and federal programs. The monies can then be dispersed to the needs within your geographical area of oversight that cannot be filled through other means, especially focusing on those with greatest need and fewest resources.
