About Network of Hope

Who We Are

Network of Hope is a coordinated mobilization of Faith-Based Communities and Christian Churches meeting the needs of our neighborhoods in the event of a hurricane or other disaster. In each county we coordinate our efforts with the County Emergency Management and their ESF-15 lead organization as well as other disaster response organizations.

Besides developing teams to work in first response, we work to educate the members of our congregations on their responsibilities and opportunities to minister in the event of a hurricane or other disaster. We also provide training, resources, and consultation for local churches.

Our History

Beginning of NOH and its development Network of Hope was begun after witnessing the devastation of the four Florida hurricanes of 2004. We have come to recognize the opportunity and ability for the local churches to be a vital force in the immediate response to the individual and crucial needs of people in such a crisis.
